Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the contractual relationship between Smartplumbers LTD (“Company,” “we,” or “us”) and the customer (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) for the provision of plumbing and heating services. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

 

  1. Service Provision:

1.1 We will provide plumbing and heating services in a professional and timely manner, using qualified and experienced personnel.

1.2 We will endeavor to perform the services with due care and skill, using reasonable efforts to meet your requirements and expectations.

 

  1. Service Agreement:

2.1 To engage our services, you must provide accurate and complete information regarding the required work, including any specific instructions or preferences.

2.2 We reserve the right to decline or postpone any service request at our discretion, without providing a reason.

2.3 We will provide you with a quotation for the requested services, including a breakdown of costs, and any applicable terms, fees, or additional charges. Quotations are valid for [X] days from the date of issuance.

 

  1. Pricing and Payment:

3.1 The prices quoted for our services are based on the information provided by you. We reserve the right to revise the quotation if the scope of work changes or additional services are required.

3.2 All prices quoted are inclusive of applicable taxes, unless stated otherwise.

3.3 Payment for services rendered is due upon completion of the work, unless alternative payment terms have been agreed upon in writing.

3.4 Late payments may be subject to interest charges at a rate of 5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is lower.

3.5 We accept payment by cash, bank transfer, Card payment or other methods as agreed upon in writing.

 

  1. Customer Responsibilities:

4.1 You agree to provide clear and accurate information regarding the required work and any relevant details, such as property access, utilities, or safety considerations.

4.2 You are responsible for ensuring that the necessary permits, authorizations, or approvals are obtained before commencing any work.

4.3 You agree to provide a safe and suitable working environment, including the removal of any obstructions or hazards that may impede our services.

 

  1. Liability and Limitations:

5.1 We hold appropriate liability insurance coverage for our operations. Our liability for any direct damages arising from our services is limited to the value of the work performed.

5.2 We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or damage to property, arising from our services.

5.3 We will not be held responsible for any delays or failures in service delivery due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of nature, government actions, or equipment failures.

 

  1. Warranty:

6.1 We warrant that our services will be performed with due care and skill and in accordance with industry standards.

6.2 Our warranty for services rendered is valid for 365 days from the completion date, provided that the work has not been modified or tampered with by any party other than us.

6.3 Warranty claims must be made in writing, specifying the nature of the issue, and we reserve the right to assess and rectify the reported problem before any warranty claims are accepted.

 

  1. Termination:

7.1 Either party may terminate the service agreement by providing written notice to the other party. Termination will be effective 7 days from the date of receipt of the notice.

7.2 Termination will not affect any rights or obligations that have already accrued before the termination date.

 

  1. Confidentiality:

8.1 Both parties agree to treat all information exchanged during the course of our engagement as confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or authorized by the other party.

 

  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

9.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England

 

  1. Amendments:

10.1 We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting the revised Terms on our website or providing you with written notice.
